Vitamins

Vitamins are nothing but organic substances combined together which is needed for animals but in little quantities.  Vitamins can be found in foods in small quantities or it can be made synthetically. We as humans do require vitamins in to grow as well as to help in the development.  If there is a deficiency in any of the vitamins, it could lead to many illnesses.

There two types of groups in vitamins such as water soluble vitamins and fat soluble vitamins. Example of water soluble vitamin is vitamin C.  While the fat soluble vitamin are Vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E, and vitamin K.

Among them vitamin A is much more needed for the eye sight as well as skin forming and maintaining.  Vitamin B is needed for metabolism and RBCs.  They also help on making energy and protein for our body.

Vitamin C is essential in collagen production and it is essential for bone and muscles.  They also help in keeping the skin and muscles in shape.

Vitamin D is essential for bone formation and absorbing calcium from the intestines.  Vitamin E helps in oxidation reservation in the body tissues and helps in forming RBCs.  They also help in the protection of the lungs from pollution.
